Hey there Yogis!

We've been talking a lot about freedom lately.

Freedom to choose whether to become a mother or not — and how.
Freedom to leave behind a lifestyle, a job, a city, or even a person when it no longer feels aligned.
Freedom to move toward what truly calls us.
Freedom to release past traumas and negative conditioning.
Freedom from repetitive patterns of thought and behavior.
Freedom cultivated through the practice of yoga.

As you can see, freedom is a concept as vast as it is essential.

Today, we would like to explore another dimension of freedom: the ability to have control over our own time.

In our previous post, we mentioned how having time to simply be — to do nothing, to enjoy ourselves and the world around us — is essential for growth, healing, and transformation.

We cannot truly feel free until we learn how to pause.

We cannot feel fully free until we allow ourselves time to rest, to observe the beauty of life, to connect with the people we love, and to care for our bodies and our inner world.

We hope this message inspires you to pause, even if only for ten minutes.

Take a breath.

Namaste.

I. A quote by Franco "Bifo" Berardi

“Perhaps the answer is that it is necessary to slow down, finally giving up on economistic fanaticism and collectively rethink the true meaning of the word 'wealth.'

Wealth does not mean owning a lot, but having enough time to enjoy what nature and human collaboration place within everyone’s reach.”

II. Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra is an ancient yogic practice that has become increasingly popular as both a meditation technique and a therapeutic mind-body experience.

It is a systematic form of guided relaxation, typically practiced for 35 to 40 minutes.

Yoga Nidra often provides immediate physical benefits such as reduced stress and improved sleep quality, while also supporting the healing of psychological tension.

As a meditative practice, it can generate a profound sense of calm, joy, and well-being.

Yoga Nidra allows the body to enter one of the deepest states of relaxation possible while maintaining conscious awareness.

In a typical session, a teacher guides practitioners through different stages of awareness.

You begin by setting an intention for your life and your practice.

Then, attention gently moves through breath awareness, bodily sensations, emotions, and thoughts.

Throughout the practice, you are invited to connect with an underlying sense of peace that is always present.

Yoga Nidra cultivates what is known as witness consciousness — the ability to observe experiences without becoming overwhelmed by them.

III. Severance | Series

Severance is a psychological thriller series from Apple TV+, directed by Ben Stiller.

The story takes place at Lumen Industries, a company that claims to have perfected the ultimate work-life balance.

Employees undergo a procedure that separates their work identity from their personal identity.

Their “innie” self exists only at work, while their “outie” self exists only outside of it.

Each version of the person has no knowledge of the other’s experiences.

What appears to be the perfect solution to modern work-life imbalance soon reveals deeper philosophical questions.

The series explores themes of identity, autonomy, free will, and the illusion of choice.

Through drama, suspense, and subtle dark humor, Severance invites viewers to reflect on the boundaries between productivity, identity, and freedom.

That would be all for today.

Thank you for reading, and please feel free to share your thoughts with us. We love hearing from you.

We'll get back to you shortly, Yogis!
