Hey there Yogis!

Let’s talk about home.

What does home truly mean to you?

Home is not just the place where we live.

Home is the place where we feel comforted.

Where we feel safe.

Where we feel secure.

Home is where we can be ourselves, where the heart feels aligned with who we truly are.

And sometimes, home is not the place where we were born.

Often, it is something we must discover.

Something we must build.

Finding your true home can take courage.

Allowing yourself to feel at home within your own heart can take time.

But perhaps the real goal is to feel at peace with where we are, and to cultivate a sense of belonging within ourselves.

To feel at home, wherever we go.

I. A quote by Maya Angelou

"The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned."

II. Tortoise Pose

Kurmasana

Kurmasana, or Tortoise Pose, takes inspiration from the natural instinct of the tortoise, who withdraws into its shell when it senses danger.

Similarly, when practicing Kurmasana, we gently turn inward and reconnect with our inner world.

This posture encourages introspection and helps quiet the mind, preparing the body for meditation.

Physically, Kurmasana lengthens the spine and opens the shoulders, creating space throughout the upper body.

Energetically, the pose symbolizes the ability to retreat inward, protecting our peace and nurturing our connection to our deeper self.

4 steps to master Tortoise Pose.

III. Pose | Series

Pose is a powerful drama that highlights the importance of chosen family and the role that community plays in shaping identity and belonging.

The series follows characters, many of whom identify as gay or transgender, who have been rejected by their biological families and must create new support systems built on love, acceptance, and mutual care.

Within the world of Pose, family becomes something we build — not only something we inherit.

The series explores themes of resilience, identity, hope, and the search for belonging.

While the story unfolds during the AIDS crisis, a time marked by deep struggle and uncertainty, it also celebrates the beauty of ambition, creativity, and human connection.

Visually striking and emotionally powerful, Pose reminds us that home can be a place, a person, or a feeling we create together.

We will get back to you shortly, Yogis.
