Hey there Yogis!
In our last edition, we welcomed Spring and reflected on how this season invites us to blossom and unfold.
Today, we would like to share a few thoughts about new beginnings and fresh starts.
Leaving behind a lifestyle, a habit, a job, a city, or even a person is not easy.
The mind resists change.
We tend to cling to what feels familiar.
We hold on.
And then we hold on a little more.
Until one day we realize:
Enough is enough.
Often, it is the body that sends the first signals.
It hurts.
It feels tired.
It asks for change.
It asks for attention.
Listening to these signals can help us recognize when it is time to move forward.
To choose a path that aligns with what we truly want.
As humans, whether we notice it or not, we are constantly evolving.
Change is always happening.
The key is learning how to consciously direct that change toward our goals, desires, and dreams.
To be aware.
To stay awake.
To open the door to something new.
If you find yourself longing for a fresh start or a new direction, we hope today’s reflections offer support and inspiration.

I. A quote by Yung Pueblo
Attachment is not:
having desires, goals, or personal preferences.
Attachment is:
the mental tension you feel
when you do not get exactly what you crave.
It is refusing to accept change
or to release control.
II. Camel Pose
Ustrasana
Camel Pose, or Ustrasana, is an energizing backbend that opens the front body and encourages expansion.
This posture helps counteract the effects of prolonged sitting and slouching, while relieving tension in the lower back.
Ustrasana increases flexibility in the spine, stimulates the nervous system, opens the chest and shoulders, and supports healthy circulation and digestion.
As the body opens, the mind often follows.
Releasing tension in the neck, back, and shoulders can create a sense of mental openness and flexibility.
Camel Pose is also associated with stimulating creativity and new perspectives.
Energetically, the posture connects with the heart chakra, Anahata, which relates to compassion, empathy, and love.
When this center feels open, actions and thoughts may begin to emerge from a place of greater connection and care.
Open your body.
Open your mind.

III. Unorthodox | Series
Have you ever imagined leaving everything behind in search of a different life?
Unorthodox, an Emmy-nominated Netflix miniseries, tells the story of Esther Shapiro, a young woman who leaves her insular religious community in Brooklyn to begin a new life in Berlin.
The story is inspired by the life of Deborah Feldman and her memoir Unorthodox: The Scandalous Rejection of My Hasidic Roots, published in 2012.
The series explores the complex emotional journey of redefining identity, autonomy, and belonging.
It portrays the difficult choices that arise when personal freedom conflicts with deeply rooted traditions.
While addressing the challenges faced by women in strict religious environments, the series also approaches the subject with sensitivity and nuance.
It reminds us that change often involves uncertainty, courage, and faith.

A few reflections by Deborah Feldman
"I left on faith. I think it's important to say that because where I come from, faith is everything. And when you leave this community, you also leave on faith, because that's how you've been trained to take risks."
"I felt that God wasn't punishing me with the accident, but showing me that I could survive anything. That gave me the courage to leave the very next day. I understood it as a prediction — that I would leave my old life and be reborn into a new one."
We will get back to you shortly, Yogis.
