Hey there Yogis!

The chill of winter begins to fade, and the warmth of summer slowly starts to shine.

Spring is here.

Spring moving into summer is a season of blossoming and unfolding.

It is a fertile time, a moment in the cycle of nature when whatever we choose to nourish has the potential to grow and expand.

Where attention goes, energy flows.

Below, you will find an inspiring poem, a powerful asana, and a deeply moving South Korean film that may help you feel more connected to this season of renewal.

Spring can gently remind us that growth often happens quietly.

That transformation can be subtle.

And that change can begin with small, intentional steps.

Enjoy.

I. A poem by Robin Myers

There's nothing I like better
than to lie on my back in the grass
and remember where I came from.

I came from the grass,
and I like to remember
what it has taught me:

be small,
look up,
distribute yourself evenly
over the space you are given.

Love the damp earth.
Love the ants' tiny teeth.
The green stain on a shirt.
The worms.

II. Tree Pose

Vrksasana

Spring is a season of growth, and trees beautifully reflect this process of steady expansion.

Tree Pose, or Vrksasana, is a classic standing posture that supports balance, strength, and stability.

It encourages a feeling of grounding while inviting the body to reach upward with intention and openness.

Like a tree, we learn to root ourselves firmly while allowing our energy to rise and extend.

In this posture, the standing leg provides stability, while the lifted foot rests on the ankle, shin, or inner thigh.

The pose invites gentle concentration and awareness of the subtle adjustments the body naturally makes to maintain balance.

Vrksasana teaches patience and acceptance.

Some days, balance feels effortless.

Other days, it requires more attention and softness.

Honoring where your body is today is part of the practice.

Tree Pose reminds us that growth does not require force.

It requires presence.

III. Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring | Movie

Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring is a contemplative South Korean film that explores the cycles of life through the lens of Buddhist philosophy.

Set in a floating monastery surrounded by nature, the story follows a young monk as he grows from childhood into adulthood under the guidance of an older teacher.

The film reflects on the rhythms of nature and the ways in which human life mirrors these cycles.

Moments of peace coexist with moments of struggle.

Beauty coexists with difficulty.

Through its quiet storytelling and breathtaking landscapes, the film invites reflection on the passage of time, personal growth, and the process of learning through experience.

It reminds us that life moves in cycles, and that every season offers an opportunity to begin again.

We will get back to you shortly, Yogis.
